How much time do you need to set up and run the sale?
That depends on the size of the sale. For smaller sales, we typically need one week to clean, price and set up for the sale. The sale usually runs for 2 - 3 days. For larger estates, we might need up to two weeks leading up to the sale. For your convenience, we will place a lock box on the door, so you do not have to be there to let us in.
how do i prepare for an estate sale?
First make sure your family has had a chance to choose and remove items that are sentimental to them, including pictures and personal items. Other than that, the best way for you to prepare is to DO NOTHING! Do not throw anything away. Our experience has shown us that what some people consider junk, others consider treasure. Then simply have us do the rest.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE SALE?
There are several options to choose from that best fit your needs. We can help you discard and/or donate the remaining items, or you can choose to do it on your own. Unlike other companies, we do not have a store to take your unsold items to, so our goal is to price fairly so we can sell as much as possible at the estate sale.
